Italian Drip Beef
Ingredients
3 pound Chuck roast
1 can Beef Consommé
6 pepperoncini peppers, plus about 1/2 a cup of the liquid from the jar
1 packet of Good Season’s Italian Dressing mix
Directions
Put the roast in the crockpot, pour everything else over it. If you’re not using the dressing packet, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for 8 hours or so.
To cook in the oven, put the roast and all the other stuff in a casserole dish or roasting pan, cover tightly with foil, and cook at 325 degrees for about three hours, or until the roast shreds easily with a fork.
