Easy Chicken and French Onion Soup Casserole

Ingredients

2 cups Minute Rice , Do not use regular rice
10.5 oz cream of chicken soup, 1 can
10.5 oz cream of mushroom, 1 can
10.5 oz water, fill one soup can with water
1/2 cup onion , white or yellow onion, diced small
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 oz dry onion soup mix, 1 packet or 2 tablespoons of homemade dry onion soup mix
2 pounds chicken , boneless,skinless breast meat

Directions

Place a slow cooker liner bag in your slow cooker bowl or spray it with a little cooking spray for easy cleanup.

In a medium size bowl mix, minute rice, diced onions, garlic powder, pepper and both cans of soup, and 1 can of water.

*Also, mix in half a packet of the dry onion soup mix. Save the other half for topping. Whisk until creamy and smooth.

Add 1/2 of the mixture to the slow cooker, then place chicken on top.

Spread the rest of the mixture on top of the chicken.

Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3.5 hours or until the chicken reaches 165 degrees internal temperature.
