Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients

2 cups of your favorite BBQ Sauce
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons honey
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Directions

In a large mixing bowl mix together the BBQ sauce, sweet onion, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Put half of the BBQ sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.

Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker and pour the remaining BBQ sauce over the chicken making sure the chicken is completely covered with the sauce.

Cook on low for 4-1/2 hours, and then shredded the chicken with two forks. Once you shred the chicken return it to the slow cooker and mix to coat with the sauce. Cover and finish cooking for 30 minutes.

Serve the chicken on buns with coleslaw and extra BBQ sauce.
