CrockPot Apple Dump Cake
Ingredients
21 ounces Canned Apple Pie Filling
15.2 ounces Boxed Yellow Cake Mix
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
1 cup Butter (melted)
Directions
Empty the can of apple pie filling into the bottom of a 6 quart slow cooker OR a 3.5 quart casserole slow cooker and spread evenly over the bottom.
Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar evenly over the pie filling.
Next, sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the pie filling.
Lastly, pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the dry cake mix.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2.5 hours.
The middle of the dump cake will be moist and sticky but not totally liquid.
To serve, spoon dump cake into a bowl and eat plain or top with vanilla ice cream or sweetened whipped cream.
