Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy
Ingredients
2 packets chicken gravy mix
1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
2 cups water
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup sour cream
rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles, for serving
sliced green onions, for topping
Directions
To begin, season the chicken breasts (both sides) with black pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.
In your slow cooker, combine the cream of chicken soup, gravy packets, and water until smooth consistency.
Add in the seasoned chicken breast and coat them in the gravy.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Once cooked, using a fork, break the chicken up into pieces.
Stir in the sour cream and serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles. Top with sliced green onions, if desired.
