Crockpot Sausage And Peppers
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 links Italian sausages sweet
1 large yellow onion sliced
1 large red bell pepper sliced
1 large yellow bell pepper sliced
1 large orange bell pepper sliced
1 large green bell pepper sliced
1 24-ounce jar Marinara sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Add onions and peppers to the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Pour the marinara sauce over the vegetables.
Brown Italian sausage links in olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Transfer the sausages to the slow cooker, placing them on top of the vegetables and marinara sauce.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the sausages are cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
