Slow Cooker Asian Beef Broccoli
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 cup low-sodium beef broth
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon sriracha
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 green onions, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups broccoli florets
Sesame seeds
Cooked rice
Directions
Starting in a large slow-cooker, add in the steak, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, sriracha, soy sauce, and some green onions.
Cover the slow-cooker and cook on a low heat until the beef is tender and completely cooked through, which takes around 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
When the steak is done, spoon in a couple tablespoons of the broth from the slow-cooker into a bowl and whisk it with cornstarch. Pour it into the slow cooker and toss it with the beef until it is mixed. Add in the broccoli and cook, covered, for another 20 minutes. Finally, add garnish with your sesame seeds and green onions. Serve it over rice.
