Slow Cooker Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Casserole
Ingredients
24.8 oz canned Pillsbury cinnamon rolls , (two 12.40-oz. cans) the frosting is not used in this recipe.
2 granny smith apples, peeled and diced
1 cup salted butter, melted
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 dash salt
Optional for serving
bottled caramel for drizzling over final dish

Spray the slow cooker liberally with non stick spray, or spread butter or oil on the bottom and sides of the slow cooker.
Cut the cinnamon rolls into six pieces each. Add to the slow cooker.
Add the diced apple to the cinnamon rolls and toss the cinnamon roll pieces and apples together to distribute evenly.
In a medium size bowl, add the melted butter, sugars, cinnamon and salt. Mix until combined. This will look like a caramel sauce.
Pour over the caramel sauce mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces and apples.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are set in the middle.
