Crockpot Chicken with Boxed Stuffing
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken breasts, boneless skinless
1 10.5 ounce cream of chicken, 1 can
1 6 oz boxed stuffing mix, regular or cornbread
1 cup sour cream
Directions
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Whisk until well blended and creamy.
Spread the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle stuffing mix bread crumbs over the top of the chicken. Gently pat it down into the sauce but do not stir it in. *Note: Do not premake the stuffing. If your stuffing mix box has a packet of seasoning, mix that in with the bread crumbs. Most brands have the seasoning in the bread crumbs already but not all do.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.
