Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken
Ingredients
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
2 cans cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz each
½ cup milk
1 block cream cheese 8 oz, cut into cubes
Directions
Spray the insert of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or use a Crock Pot liner.
Place the raw chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom. Season it with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Whisk together the cream of chicken soup with the milk and pour it over the chicken.
Cut the cream cheese into cubes and place it evenly in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
Remove chicken from the slow cooker onto a cutting board and shred with two forks.
Return chicken to slow cooker and mix to combine well.
Serve over rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes.
